Who we are
The Sacramento Cactus and Succulent Society was founded in October 1960 to promote the understanding and care of succulent plants in the home and in the wild through education, conservation and research … and to have fun. We are an affiliate of the Cactus and Succulent Society of America.

Monthly meetings
Monthly meetings are informational; you can discuss plant care with others that have the same interest and listen to educational presentations. There are also various field trips to nurseries, botanical gardens and other plant-related places. Plant drawings are held every meeting. You don’t need be a member to attend a meeting or buy drawing tickets. The public is warmly welcomed.
Meetings are held the fourth Monday of every month except December. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. for socializing and plant sales. Presentations start at 7:00 p.m.
