What we do
Monthly Meetings
The SCSS meets every fourth Monday at the Shepard Garden & Arts Center in McKinley Park (except December). Doors open at 6:15 pm.
Annual Show
Our annual Show & Sale is held the first weekend of May, this year on May 2-4. This is the biggest succulent event of its kind in the Sacramento area. Don’t miss it!

Our monthly newsletter, Thorny Issues, keeps you up to date on the latest events.
Demonstration Garden
The SCSS has created a demonstration garden at the Shepard Garden & Arts Center to showcase the use of succulents and cacti in waterwise landscapes.
