Did you know that many of the plants we love and have growing in our gardens aren’t propagated through seeds or offsets but start life in a lab? This includes succulents like agaves, mangaves, and aloes, not to mention virtually all the house plants you find in grocery stores and garden centers.
On Friday, October 9, we’ll visit Micro Paradox, a tissue-culture facility in Pleasant Grove, about 30 minutes north of downtown, where you’ll have the opportunity to see how plants are created
in a lab.
We’ll meet at 9:45 am in the Micro Paradox parking lot at 3560 Sankey Rd, Pleasant Grove, CA 95668 (MapQuest link here). The tour will start at 10 am and last about 90 minutes.
