Welcome

The Sacramento Cactus and Succulent Society was founded in October 1960 to promote the understanding and care of succulent plants in the home and in the wild through education, conservation and research ... and to have fun.

We are an affiliate of the Cactus and Succulent Society of America. Monthly meetings are informational; you can discuss plant care with others that have the same interest and listen to educational presentations. There are also various field trips to nurseries, botanical gardens and other plant-related places. Raffles are held every meeting as well as door prizes handed out to five lucky winners. You need not be a member to attend a meeting, buy raffle tickets or win a door prize, and the public is warmly welcomed.

Meetings are held the fourth Monday of every month except December. The meetings start at 7:00 p.m. and are held at:

Shepard Garden and Arts Center
3330 McKinley Blvd.
Sacramento, CA 95816
